The majority of our beans are from Son Pacamara farm and a small portion from other long-cultivating farms around Dalat. All coffee trees have been sustainably cultivated with strict quality control, thus it helps deliver delicious coffee, benefits users’ health, and deducts negative impact on the environment.

AGRICULTURE

Located 1500m above sea level in Dalat, Sơn Pacamara Farm is a place with perfect biologic conditions to apply sustainable farming for creating a healthy ecosystem for our arabica trees. 

Our farmers ensure the trees’ healthy by keeping the coffee trees growing in with the right plant neighbors. We use bio-pesticide or fertilizers only when necessary because we believe only healthy trees produce high-quality coffee beans. 

We are confident in delivering products that benefit both your health and the environment.

RARE VARIETIES

We’ve been seeking and preserving high-quality, rare arabica varieties in Dalat such as Bourbon, Typica, Mundo Novo, especially Pacamara.

CAREFUL PROCESSING

To optimize the quality, all coffee beans will go through our 7-step process of selecting and removing defects, and we do them all by hand. 

  1. Handpick ripe cherries from trees. Only coffee cherries with sugar levels of 16% or more (on the Brix refractometer) meet the criterion.
  2. Before husked, cherries are washed with defects removed.   
  3. Ferment & check PH 3 times/day.
  4. Dry on high beds to avoid unwanted smells; daily check moisture till reaching the optimum number for storing. 
  5. Remove coffee’s parchment, sort sizes, and remove defects.
  6. Handpick green beans’ defects (shell beans, eaten beans,..) before roasting
  7. Once roasted, handpick defects last time.

CORPORATE WITH OTHER LOCAL FARMERS

Until 2019, we executed our vision of preserving and developing local arabica by expanding the cultivation zone. Our first step was cooperating with other local farmers who want or/and have been working on producing high-quality coffee in Dalat. We buy coffee cherries from farmers at a fair price (higher than the average market price), and support them in harvesting and transporting goods. 

Once harvested, all cherries will be transported back to Son Pacamara Farm within that day to be further processed. 

FARM VƯỜN EXPERIENCE

We welcome you on our Farm year-round to explore and experience the process of producing specialty standard coffee in Dalat, Vietnam.

FARM LOCATION

Sơn Pacamara Farm’s located beside the protected forest’s edge in Ward 5, which takes around 10 mins of travel by motorbikes.

With a total area of approx 4 hectares, Farm is both a production house and also a for local and international friends to gather and share their love for coffee.
